Matt Freeman went out in the world and actually did something useful for theatre in New York. He went to the meeting I mentioned here and comes back with a report. Thank you, Matt, for actually doing, not just talking shit, like, well, like I do. Glad to see it was effective and here's hoping there's more like it.
It's a good thing to remember: doing > talking.

Happy to have been there. But of course, the real activists are the Community Boards Theater Task Force, New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, The League of Independent Theaters and NYTE.
And, of course, Community Dish. And ART/NY. Basically, there are tons of people out there working hard. Join or send money or write about them, folks!
