Black Playwright Convening Responses
The first two are up. Adam's is here. Mine is here. There's also a couple of great pictures of the participants here. I posted the pics to my Facebook and got it tagged, in case you're wondering who's who here.
I was at the Convening as an observer from Temple University. The world premier of my new play The Belly will be in Novenber 2010. I left DC confident that I could market to an underserved audience and bring them inton the theatre. I was blown to see the bloggers in the back chronicaling this historic event. Once the product (script) is where it should be, I firmly believe it comes back to marketing and pure hustle. If you or anyone in your community have advice for me, I'm listening. -G. Lloyd Morris
